Your child is not broken. They just need someone who knows how to teach them the way their brain learns.

For over 20 years, Kristen Nichols has worked with students who struggled to read — kids who were labeled "behind," sent to tutors, or told to try harder. She knows that most of them weren't struggling because of effort. They were struggling because no one had taught them using methods designed for the way their brain works.

As a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT), Kristen uses structured, multisensory, Orton-Gillingham–based methods — the gold standard for students with dyslexia — to help students build lasting reading skills, not just temporary fixes.

She has worked with students from kindergarten through high school, designed literacy programs at the school and district level, and coached dozens of teachers. Parents consistently describe working with her as the turning point.
